FermiLab Environmental Land Management Committee

There is an interpretive trail open to the public through 80 acres of prairie grasses and flowers on the exit side of Pine St., Fermilab main entrance from Kirk Road. Use e-mail to contact a speaker. Members are appointed by Fermilab director on the basis of expertise and interest. To plant and enrich Fermilab land with prairie plants and other native plant communities. Volunteers are welcome to gather and clean seeds with the committee's director of volunteers activities.

The FRRL was established in 1924 as a club offing a wide variety of activities and services to the amateur radio community. We provide public service communications as well as organized club special event activities. Many of our members are active in Skywarn reporting weather conditions to the National Weather Service. Fox Valley Dog Training Club

Non-profit organization, founded in 1948 devoted to dog training. We teach dog owners how to train their pets to become canine citizens. Our club welcomes mixed breed dogs and purebreds. Training is at the main building at Kane County Fairgrounds and includes a complete range of classes; puppy, conformation and obedience - beginners through utility. Training is usually on Thursday nights, but check our website for the current calendar. To become a member one must complete a beginning training class or guest train in an advanced level class.
