Dunham Hunt Museum/St. Charles Heritage Center

The Dunham Hunt House was built by Bela T. Hunt in 1840. The family lived there until 1980 when it was purchased by Jane Dunham and converted into a museum furnished with artifacts from the home of Mark W. Dunham, the "castle" still standing at the corner of Dunham and Army Trail Roads in Wayne, IL. Mark Dunham was an 1880's importer and breeder of Percheron horses.
